Stephanie & Sean

Stephanie & Sean had a beautiful wedding at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brentwood, and a SUPER FUN reception at Union Hall in Spring Hill. By the end of the night, our Dove crew along with A Delightful Day were being pulled onto the dance floor, and we happily obliged! I love this image of Stephanie & Sean- Stephanie is stunning, and love the way Sean is looking at her :)

Rebecca & Scott

I am pretty far behind on my blogging, so I will be posting a lot this week! We have had 16 sessions this past month, including weddings, and we are working hard on completing everything before the holidays! Just a reminder, Dec. 1st is the deadline for print orders to arrive by Christmas! We had a great time with Rebecca & Scott in downtown Franklin for their engagement shoot. They both were so happy together, which makes photographs so easy for us! Here is one of my favorites... can you tell what this is?

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope that everyone had a terrific Thanksgiving holiday... I know we did! We were in Kansas City visiting Peter's family Tuesday through Friday and got back for Jenny & Joey's wedding on Saturday. On our plane ride back home I began to think about all we had to do when we got back and my head began to fill with all the busyness once again. And then, just as we were about to land, I looked out my window and saw this. Absolutely stunning. It was a great reminder that God is in control, of this beautiful sunset as well as my life. I have so much to be thankful for, and so many other things I should fill my head with besides what has to get done. Things like sunsets, family, time with my husband, and my nice warm cozy home that I was heading to. Enjoy!

Amber & Brandon

Amber and Brandon were married at Two River's Mansion here in Nashville, and it is such a beautiful place! I loved all the textures throughout the old Mansion, and the wallpaper was so much fun. But what really made Amber's wedding special was all of the detail that she put into it. Amber is super creative and designed everything from her invitations to her programs. Mary Alice Sublett was the coordinator for Amber's wedding, and she did a spectacular job. I was excited and not surprised at all to hear that Amber is now working with Mary Alice's company, A Delightful Day. If there is one thing that I regret my own wedding is not having a coordinator- so if you are on a limb about whether or not to hire one, I HIGHLY recommend it. Here is a little collage I put together of all her details.

And now for the rest of the day! Here are a few of everyone getting ready...

Amber's flower's were beautiful, and were made by Fresh by Carry Ann

I love this sweet image of Amber and Brandon after they saw each other for the first time.

Beth & Rex

It was a delight to photograph Beth & Rex's wedding in Pisgah, AL. Their ceremony was at the gorgeous Gorham's Bluff and the view was just incredible! I can't wait to share some of the beautiful details Beth had at the wedding, but for now, a lovely couple in front of a lovely view!

Patricia & Floyd

We had a great time photographing Patricia & Floyd's small ceremony at the Nashville Courthouse at the beginning of September. I have never been to the courthouse, and was excited to see how beautiful it is. One thing I love about Nashville is the consistancy of the architecture... from the Library, to the courthouse, and even the new Symphony Center, the marble walls and modern classical style really help make Nashville a beautiful city.

That evening, Patricia and Floyd had an elegant reception at the Hillwood Country Club. Lindsey Monger from A Bride Idea was the coordinator and did a fabulous job. The tables were gorgeous.

Waiting for the party to start...

We did some fun images by the golf course before everything began. Isn't Patricia gorgeous!

The party was a lot of fun for everyone, and Hillwood provided excellent food. Here is Patricia's grandson... I love that adorable face!

Thanks for letting us be a part of your wedding day!

Audrey & Ben

I have so much blogging to catch up on this week, and we have some super fun images to show! We photographed Audrey and Ben's wedding at the lovely Cedarwood Mansion a couple of weeks ago, and had such a great time. When we first met with them, we realized that we knew a lot of the same people, so it was fun seeing friends that came to celebrate with them. Their ceremony was so sweet and I can't wait to share more of their images when we have completed them. I love this one of them with the bridal party, and shows what a beautiful setting Cedarwood has.

Halloween 07!

So, here we are on Halloween- Can I tell you how much fun it was to go as a group! We are Team Zissou from the movie The Life Aquatic. I still think Ghostbusters was my favorite, but this was very close....
