Paige & Marcus's beautiful fall wedding...

I love getting e-mails from Paige... every one of them has made me laugh. And you could tell throughout the wedding day that her and her friends love to laugh and have fun together. Jen photographed Marcus while he waited for Paige to come and see him before the wedding. She said that he kept looking around for her, and couldn't wait for her to walk out! They were so sweet and happy together, which always makes it easy for a photographer. Everything was so beautiful, it was defenitely a fairytale wedding. I loved all the fall colors... from Paige's flowers, to her beautiful auburn hair, to her bridesmaids chocolate dresses, and of course the gardens at Cheekwood. Here are just a few of my favorites....

The Dress...

I could have filled up the entire blog with pictures of this precious flower girl

Paige's dad taking a picture of me taking a picture of him... I love this one!

And they both are still beautiful!

I’m up and running… okay, I'm not actually running...

It never seems to fail that I get sick right around Christmas, when the last thing I want or need to do is lay on the couch all day. So of course, this week, I got one horrible sinus infection that kept me sick and asleep all day. Peter has worked so hard taking care of me and everything else going on right now- I am so thankful for him! Today I woke up full of energy and ready to work and do something besides sleep. Right now I am finishing up Paige’s beautiful wedding and I want to post a few of her bridal that we did back in the fall. We always wait until after the wedding to show bridals off so they don’t spoil the surprise. Paige is gorgeous in every photograph; I spent way too long trying to pick out my favorites!

The Guthrie Family

Peter and I had such a great time getting to know the Guthries this weekend. They have three children and another one on the way! We did a family photo with them, and I took some time to grab some shots of the kids just hanging out and playing. You can tell they have a lot of fun! Julie fixed dinner for us... enchiladas... and Peter hasn't stopped talking about them. Thanks for a fun evening!

A Georgia Fall Experience

This was a really fun shoot! The city of Lawrenceville had just started decorating of Christmas and the fall colors were just right. It was beautiful! The lighting was perfect. I prayed God would hold off the rain just long enough. Sure enough, once we got in our cars to leave, the heavens opened!

Nina and Johnny were a blast to work with. When we all first met, you would have thought Johnny was camera shy within the first few frames. That was short lived for he proved himself a natural like his fiancé Nina. He's working on keeping his eyes closed, I hope! ;)

Congratulations Dianne and Barry!

I love working weddings at The Factory- it gives way for so much texture and color. Dianne is a graphic designer (she is working on new promotional materials for us!) and everything suited her perfectly. Dianne's mom took care of all the decorations and flower arrangements, and I have never seen the church at the factory look better. The day was calm and relaxing and I enjoyed getting to hang out with Dianne and Barry
again. They both just glowed when they saw each other for the first time! Here are some of my favorites from the wedding:

The guys were playing a game of poker before the ceremony... the best part was they were using legos as poker chips!

The backdrop for the ceremony was several doors painted white and hinged together. Everything put together made the ceremony look magical!
