So many exciting things!

We have been SO INCREDIBLY BUSY this week! We have a lot of new things coming up, and I can't wait to share our really big surprise! But, not now, you will have to wait just a bit! One of our big projects that we have been finishing up this week is getting our booth ready for Weddings The Bridal Show. This will be our first bridal show, and I must admit that I am very excited. We spent a lot of time getting things ready for the booth, including a visit to Ikea in Atlanta. If you haven't been to Ikea yet, you should! We always spend wayyyy too much time in their. We also found some prize pieces at Urban Outfitters, another one of my favorite stores.

If you haven't made plans yet to come, it is this Sunday from 11:00am to 5:00pm at the Nashville Convention Center. Be sure to print off a coupon from the website here. Even if you don't have much planning left to do, it is still fun see what everyone has to offer. And be sure to drop by and say hi! When you come in the entrance, we are all the way to the right. I might even let you in on our big news :)

Album Design

I have recently finished an album design for Paige and Marcus and I wanted to share it with you all. I have so much fun working on albums! I strive to make each album really fit the style of the couple it is for and the wedding that they had. Now I am just waiting for the printed album to arrive so that Paige and Marcus can enjoy it. It is always so exciting having a printed album arrive in the mail- it is the final product, a completed work of art. It is so fun to be able to have something tangible to look through and see your work presented in such a beautiful way! Here are a few of my favorite spreads:

Stephanie & Sean

I got a call from Stephanie the day before we were going to take their engagement photographs saying that Sean had been hit in the lip while playing hockey. And not only that, but he had stitches to prove it! My first thought was, that sure is a cool wound for a guy to have! And then my second thought was that they were probably going to post-pone. But Stephanie assured me that they decided to go ahead with the photographs, because it really showed who they are. And I'm so glad they did because it turned out to be a perfect day for it. Even though it is hard to see the stitches in most of the photographs, it serves as great reminder that Sean is rough andtumble kind of guy, and Stephanie just loves him for it!

It's Engagement Season!

We thought it would rain all day a couple of weeks ago for Chelsea and Matt's engagement session, but it cleared up right on time! Everything was so green and vibrant, and we had a wonderful time. Chelsea has such a vibrant smile, and Matt just lit up around her. Here are some of my favorites-

Did you notice that Matt was making Chelsea laugh in every one of these?! I can't wait to see the fun they have together at the wedding!

Downtown Nashville

We had such a good time exploring different parts of downtown with Taylor and Jon! They both have so much fun together, I hardly had to direct them at all. We did the engagement session just a few days before their wedding because they both live in Michigan, but the wedding was here in Taylor's home state. I can't wait to share some of the images from their beautiful outdoor wedding, but for now here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session...

The man patroling this area was kind enough to let Taylor and Jon hop in for a few pictures. But before we were done, there were people lined up to collect tourist info from them... I guess they didn't notice the photographer!

This was my favorite moment from the entire day... We headed down to the large gravel parking lot down by the Gulch, and just as we were about to get started, a gust of wind came. I think it really shows the tenderness that Jon has for his wife :) Be sure to click on this image so you can see it up close!

Allison & Patricks Engagement

I posted a sneak peek of Allison and Patrick's engagement session not too long ago and wanted to share a few more of the fun day we had. They were so much fun and up for anything! By the end of the day, they were walking barefoot in the rain and Patrick had a go at dancing :) Allison will be doing a bridal on Monday and I can't wait to see her dress!
